We Are Spared

The forecast said
another twelve to sixteen
inches
plopped atop
existing
head high mounds
of blackened snow

should be pretty
pretty inconvenient

cancellations
preparations
long lines
at the market
at the pumps

hearty stews
heart attacks

but our savior
global warming
blesses us
with clammy rain

and spring
waddles
one day
closer

Hi Don -

Thank you so much. Know anyone who would be interested in publishng them?

I fear that my poetry is too highly dependent on the clickie to be any fun in a book. That is not to say I wouldn't be game.
