Do those of you who have been following the double triangle series , feel ready for a new shape ? Ready or not , concentric circles seem to be popping up here and there, so we might as well google them .
To quote from the Dream Symbols Dictionary "Concentric circles, or circles within circles, for instance, have a long historical association that depicts the cosmos and its spheres as a microcosm within a macrocosm. These early shapes are imprinted deeply in the soul, emerging through expressive art forms and within dreams quite spontaneously".
As you can see, concentric circles and double(or more) triangles are not mutually exclusive. Of course mandalas just had to emerge, but how about the recipe for Spider Dip and a series of animation mysteries .
Most puzzling was the appearance of Frithjof Schuon. I included him, because his portrait was just too wonderful to pass up.
Did you know that you can now get google to speak to you personally? When I tried it, google's message to me was unfathomable, but there are others who have had their socks knocked off . Maybe you have to be a stockholder .
Posted by Dakota at August 20, 2004 11:37 AMI couldn't resist the google trick. I entered a few words which have been at the top of my mind: "trauma intelligence wisdom return" (which, in a weird way, sort of tells me where I am at today).
What I got, weirdly, was "did did did did did did did did did. . ." over 100 times, at which point I gave up and closed it.
Sometimes I question whether the "trauma" actually happened. Those of us who have been through trauma sometimes do; God knows, we have nice little devices like "false memory syndrome" to help us down this garden path.
So I wonder, is that the meaning of "did" "did" "did"? Yes, it did, did, did. . .
oh my goodness. Or is it merely gibberish?
It's a riddle, indeed.

Posted by: Margaret Gunning at August 24, 2004 10:24 AMDear Margaret -
Exactly the same thing happened to me! The did, did, did part, that is, who knows what else (said sotto voce) ... the body knows.
Perhaps Google is out of sorts temporarily, given the IPO. I definitely will try again. The internet is such a virtual, post modern ouija board anyway, but it's even more intriguing to think that google can get personal.
See, Margaret, even a glitch like that can have profound meaning. That's what we're all about, here at the ranch.
How's the poem? In my massive cleanup, I found a book length poem called "The Big Party". Can't find it on Amazon, and don't have it here with me, but I'll let you know.
As always, lovely to hear from you. Keep us abreast of your results, google and otherwise.

Hi again Margaret-
Here's my fourth try "joy life force energy---- Google: did the whole route. in one go. and is a good source of calcium and Vitamin D for corticosteroid- induced osteoporosis Cochrane Review) In: The Cochrane Library, Issue Oxford: Update Software Cina "
Such a comfort. D
Oh, this is fun. I tried another few random words and got "didded" again, did did did, etc., very boring, and was just about to give up, when I thought: Two can play at this game. I'll give you gibberish, so there! I entered "pig two three four". What it gave me almost made a kind of sense, with erotic overtones that turned slightly insulting at the end:
"Did you directly in every instance bold lift face it, nine. Except ornate for feels dialed why brushed gold suck softly health fatty."
Just who you callin' fatty, Goog?
Posted by: Margaret Gunning at August 24, 2004 08:06 PMOnce again, persistance pays off. Rich, very rich. I found a new one, which I'll post soon, where you can surrealistically chat away, which is what I do so well.
Off to fondle my croissant. D
